MLW8-40.5 type outdoor high-pressure sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker is three-pole ac 50 hz, outdoor high voltage switch equipment, applicable to 40.5 kV power transmission and distribution system control and protection, can also be used to contact circuit breaker and movable capacitor group.

MLW8-40.5 is SF6 circuit breaker with CT14 type spring operation mechanism. Accord with national standard GB1984-89 AC high voltage circuit breaker, and the international electro-technical commission standard IEC56 publications of high voltage circuit breaker.
