Why METTZ instead of sourcing factory by factory?
When several manufacturers are involved, coordination matters.
Would buying direct from the factory cost less?
Direct buying works when one factory covers the whole requirement. When an order spans several product lines, compare the complete supply scope: product fit, coordination, inspection, documentation and freight.
Will the components fit our design?
We start from your drawing, part number, technical parameters and application. Any proposed alternative is shown separately and agreed with you before the order is placed.
Can you consolidate products from different factories?
Yes. METTZ coordinates the approved items across product groups and factories and gives you a clear view of what is ready, what is pending and what needs your decision before shipment.
What documents will we receive?
The document set is agreed for each order before release. It can include product data sheets, drawings, test and inspection records, and commercial and shipping documents.
Who helps us after delivery?
You keep one METTZ contact for missing items, shipment questions, technical clarification, document requests and claims.
How long are lead times?
Lead times depend on the product line and quantity and are confirmed for each item in our proposal. Adaptation kits for a modified design are typically ready in 3–4 weeks.
Our tenders require local manufacturing. Can you help?
Yes. We supply assembly kits, cells and apparatus so that the switchgear is built in your country, together with drawings, assembly training and support with the tender documentation.
Can you produce under our brand?
Yes. METTZ works as an OEM supplier for more than 110 brands. Products and documentation can be supplied under your brand.
What is the minimum order?
It depends on the product line. Send your list: minimum quantities, prices and lead times are confirmed for each item in the proposal.
Distributor or EPC contractor? Bring a broader switchgear offer to your market.
