Description
Porcelain pin insulators marked SHF-10 are used mainly as an insulating material and fasteners for linear power transmission lines and in switchgear of power plants and substations with variable current frequency of maximum 100 Hz. The use of products is allowed at air temperatures from minus 60 to plus 50 degrees Celsius. The product is made of ceramic electrical subgroup 110 material corresponding to GOST. The weight of the product is about 2 kilograms. If a breakdown occurs, the product does not collapse and the wire does not break.
SHF-10G is one of the most common porcelain pin insulators. Compared to the SHF-20G insulator, it has almost half the weight and cost, is easy to transport and install. Insulators SHF-10G should be used in areas with I, II, III degree of air pollution and with thunderstorm duration of less than 40. In other cases, insulators SHF-20G are used.
Insulator SHF-10G is mounted on standard metal structures and hooks KV-22.
Caps K-6, K-9, KP-22 are used to fasten the insulator.
Fastening of uninsulated wire to the neck of the insulator SHF-10G is carried out using wire binding VSh-1 and spiral binding of the PVS series.
To increase reliability in areas with increased pollution on overhead lines and in 10 kV electrical installations, insulators SHF-20 are used, which have a leakage path length that is one and a half times longer.
