Description

 

This AC low voltage vacuum contactor MCJ20P-2.0  is used in electrical network AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated main loop voltage 2kV, to connect and break the circuit and start and control AC machine electromotor. Combining with sort of protecting equipment, it can also work as magnetic starter or explosion-proof magnetic starter. Its shape and installation dimension are the same as VACJ20-630/2 contactor. They can be changed, which offers good options for upgrading and maintenance.

Number of Poles: 3 (Three Pole)

“P” means this vacuum contactor has coil operation mechanism type and permanent magnet operation mechanism type. Coil operation mechanism type is normally used. Customers can choose the suitable type according to the application.

Contactors MCJ20P-2.0 are designed to operate in the following modes:

  • long;
  • intermittently continuous;
  • short-term;
  • intermittently.

The vacuum contactor is an intrinsically safe device. It`s power contacts are located in a closed ceramic vacuum chamber and it can be used in the mining, metallurgical, oil, chemical industries and where it is necessary to ensure and comply with safety standards.

The contactor has two DC coils in the control circuit, a rectifier bridge and a connector for supplying control voltage, both alternating and direct current (see the control circuit in the product passport), which allows the device to be used for various types of power sources. When the contactor is turned on, the control coils go into hold mode at a reduced power consumption of electric energy.
