Description

The MCJ5E-1.14 vacuum contactor is designed for frequent switching of electrical loads in three-phase alternating current networks with voltages up to 1140V and a frequency of 50-60Hz, carrying out currents both under normal conditions and under conditions of operating overloads.

Rated voltage, kV: 1,14

The greatest working voltage, kV: 1,14

Rated current, A: 63, 80, 125, 250, 400, 630, 1000, 1250

Number of Poles: Three Pole

Vacuum contactors are installed in starters, stations and control units of asynchronous motors with squirrel-cage and phase rotors, in remote control systems of drives, control transformers and capacitive batteries. Due to the lack of an electric arc, it has safety and reliability characteristics, low noise level, low maintenance design, as well as small size.

Solutions

Solutions and Applications for 1.14kV Vacuum Contactors:

  1. Motor Starters: Especially in industrial setups, these vacuum contactors are employed in motor starters to ensure that electric motors initiate safely and efficiently.
  2. Lighting Control: They play a role in managing large lighting systems; ensuring circuits can be safely controlled, especially in industrial and large commercial settings.
  3. Power Factor Correction Equipment: These contactors assist in switching capacitor banks for power factor correction, ensuring power efficiency and quality.
  4. Soft Starters: In applications where motors require a gradual increase in voltage (soft start), these contactors are integral components.
  5. Conveyor Systems: In industrial setups like mining or manufacturing plants, they help control conveyor belt systems.
  6. Heating Systems: For large-scale heating systems, like those in industrial applications, vacuum contactors help in ensuring controlled and safe operations.
  7. Back-up Generators: In systems where backup generators are used, these contactors ensure safe switching between the main power source and the backup.
  8. Pumps: Especially in large water treatment plants or industrial setups, controlling pumps efficiently is critical, and that’s where these contactors come into play.

The world of low-voltage vacuum contactors, particularly the 1.14kV class, is vast and integral to modern electrical systems. Their role in ensuring operations are efficient, safe, and durable can’t be overstated. As industries grow and the demand for reliable and versatile electrical components rises, the significance of these compact yet powerful devices is bound to escalate.
