Vacuum contactor MCJ20-2.0 stationary type, three-pole, closed type (with top cover) — designed for frequent switching of electrical loads in three-phase alternating current networks with voltage up to 1140V, frequency 50-60Hz, conducting currents under normal conditions as well as in conditions of working overload.

Contactors MCJ20-2.0 are designed to operate in the following modes:

  • long;
  • intermittently continuous;
  • short-term;
  • intermittently.

Vacuum contactors MCJ20-2.0 are installed in starters, stations and control units of asynchronous motors with squirrel-cage and phase rotors, in remote control systems of drives, control transformers and capacitive batteries. Due to the lack of an electric arc, it has safety and reliability characteristics, low noise level, low maintenance design, as well as small size.

The vacuum contactor is an intrinsically safe device. Its power contacts are located in a closed ceramic vacuum chamber and it can be used in the mining, metallurgical, oil, chemical industries and where it is necessary to ensure and comply with safety standards.

The contactor has two DC coils in the control circuit, a rectifier bridge and a connector for supplying control voltage, both alternating and direct current (see the control circuit in the product passport), which allows the device to be used for various types of power sources. When the contactor is turned on, the control coils go into hold mode at a reduced power consumption of electric energy.
