Description

 

Contact system is designed for installation in the main circuits of withdrawable elements in the cells of complete switchgears voltage class 6-40.5kV three-phase alternating current frequency of 50 Hz for networks with insulated or grounded through the arc suppression coil or resistor neutral.

Plug-in contacts (tulips) are movable lamella contacts. They used in various circuit breakers, providing reliable contact with current-carrying part. Such contacts are easy to use. The devices shall be designed to protect against contact.

Contacts, the company offers METTZ, have a high operational safety. Springs of a nonmagnetic material of contacts lamellar provide uniform pressure on the slats and movable contact rod, thus ensuring electrical contact, whose characteristics do not change over time.

Manufacturing material — copper plated with silver. The design is compact.
