LV withdrawable cabinet MNS is a modular, multi-functional low-voltage (LV) distribution cabinet. It is used in all the low-voltage systems in need of high reliable fields in metallurgy, petroleum, chemical, industrial and mining enterprises and infrastructure areas: power distribution and motor control system.

LV withdrawable cabinet MNS structure is highly flexible. According to the needs of customers or different applicable occasions, the cabinet can be installed with a variety of models and specifications of components; according to different electrical equipment, a variety of types of feeder units can be installed in the same row of cabinet or the same cabinet. For example: feed circuit and motor control circuit can be mixed together.

MNS series is a full series of LV switchgear, and can meet your all-round demand, applicable to all low voltage system below 6300A.

MNS is a fully assembled structure, whose unique profile structure, connection methods and the compatibility of various components can meet the harsh requirements on construction period and power supply continuity.

Normal operating conditions:

  1. Ambient temperature: not exceed +40℃, average temperature within 24h not exceed +35℃;
  2. Air should be clean. Air relative humidity should not exceed 50% at +40℃, higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperature condition, for instance, 90% at +20℃, please take measures for the condensation produced on the product caused by temperature change occasionally;
  3. Altitude should not exceed 2000m;
  4. Working temperature range -25℃~55℃, and temperature should not beyond 70℃ in a short period (within 24h); under these limit conditions, the device should be protected against any unrecoverable damage, and should be able to work normally under normal conditions;

Specifications:

The basic framework of the MNS device is combination assembly structure, the entire structure of cabinet has been galvanized and the basic frames are connected by thread forming screws or 8.8 hex screws, and then adds corresponding doors, seal plates, partitions, mounting brackets, busbar, functional units and other components according to the scheme to form a complete unit, the internal dimensions and the partition size of the device are modularization (modulus unit E=25mm).

The frames of MNS series are highly flexible. There is no need of repair after installation. Different standard components can be installed in the gears to meet various kinds of applicable requirements. Because combined design is used in the entire systems including electric appliance structure, this optimized design can meet different components’ demands and adapt to different working environment, to reach corresponding protection level.

Both the design and material of MNS system can minimize the danger of fault arc occurrence. Once it occurs, it can be extinguished in time.

MNS system meets the requirements of Appendix AA in IEC298, it is proved through the fault arc measurement by an independent testing organization, as well as the type test, during the test, there is no effect on adjacent extracting type components after fault arc occurrence. After arc extinction, drawer-type components still can be operated after cleaning up. There is no change in the switchgears for the components with mechanical interlocks, even on the isolation position, there is no fault arc marks on switchgears surface.

There is no CFC or halogen contained in plastic material used in MNS system, this kind of plastic material has a flame-retardant and self-extinguishing characteristics. Compare with traditional product, the innovative MNS system has more advantages.

 

Special service conditions include, for example:

  1. Values of temperature, relative humidity and / or altitude differing from those specified in IEC 61439-1, section 7.1;
  2. Applications where variations in temperature and/or air pressure take place at such a speed that exceptional condensation is liable to occur inside the switchgear;
  3. Heavy pollution of the air by dust, smoke, corrosive or radioactive particles, vapours or salt;
  4. Exposure to strong electric or magnetic fields;
  5. Exposure to extreme climatic conditions;
  6. Attack by fungus or small creatures;
  7. Installation in locations where fire or explosion hazards exist;
  8. Exposure to heavy vibration, shocks, seismic occurrences;
  9. Installation in such a manner that the current-carrying capacity or breaking capacity is affected, for example equipment built into machines or recessed into walls;
  10. Exposure to conducted and radiated disturbances other than electromagnetic, and electromagnetic disturbances in environments other than those described in IEC 61439-1 section 9.4;
  11. Exceptional overvoltage conditions or voltage fluctuations;
  12. Excessive harmonics in the supply voltage or load current.
