Vacuum contactor MCG3-7.2 is designed for frequent switching of electrical loads in three-phase alternating current networks with voltages up to 7,2kV at a frequency of 50-60Hz, conducting currents under normal conditions and under conditions of operating overloads.

Vacuum contactors MCG3-7.2 are installed in starters, stations and control units of asynchronous motors with squirrel-cage and phase rotors, in remote control systems of drives, control transformers and capacitive batteries. Due to the lack of an electric arc, it has safety and reliability characteristics, low noise level, low maintenance design, as well as small size.
