Air-insulated switchgear KYN550-12 indoor armored shifting AC metal closed switch equipment is compact complete set of power distribution equipment applied to 12kV three-phase AC 50Hz single bus and single bus segment system.

KYN550-12 is designed to prevent the loading of the push-pull circuit breaker handcart, avoid false operation of the circuit breaker, prevent the earthing switch from being in the closed position when the circuit breaker is closed, and to prevent accidental contact with live parts. It incorporates a «five prevention» interlock function to ensure safety. The KYN550-12 is an indoor high-voltage switchgear with a solid sealing medium and a pressure vacuum circuit breaker handcart, offering superior performance as a type of power distribution equipment.

The size design of KYN550-12 saves a lot of power distribution space for commercial and industrial buildings, real estate, data centers and other industrial power grids where there is a need for miniaturization.

The KYN550-12 indoor armored shifting AC metal closed switch equipment is composed of two parts, namely the handcart and the cabinet. The cabinet is divided into four separate compartments, each with overhead inlet and outlet lines, cable outlet lines, and other functional programs. After arrangement and combination, it can become a power distribution device that meets the needs of users. This switch equipment not only meets the domestic user maintenance habits but also provides options for maintenance before the cabinet. The cabinet maintenance design can be installed from the front for debugging and maintenance. It can be used as a single bus section system, back-to-back or face-to-face installation, and can also be installed on the wall to further reduce the floor area. The utility, adaptability, and flexibility of the switch equipment are improved, and the investment cost is reduced while meeting safety performance requirements.

 

Working principle of circuit breaker handcart

When the handcart is transported into the circuit breaker room of the cabinet with the transfer vehicle, it can be reliably locked in the test position. The cabinet position display lamp shows its position. Only after the safety lock is engaged can the propulsion mechanism be shaken, allowing the handcart to move to the working position. When the handcart arrives at the working position, the push handle will not move, and the corresponding position indicator will show its position. The mechanical interlock of the handcart can reliably ensure that the circuit breaker can be closed only in the working position or test position of the handcart. The circuit breaker can be moved only when the handcart is in the test position. The door operation can be realized.

 

Compartment

The main electrical components of the switch cabinet have their own separate compartments, namely: instrument room A, circuit breaker room B, bus room C, cable room D, the protection level of each compartment reaches IP2X; In addition to the instrument room, the other three high-pressure chambers have their own pressure relief channels.

 

Instrument room A

Relay instrument room can be installed relay protection elements, meters, live monitoring indicators, and special requirements of secondary equipment. The control circuit is laid in a slot with sufficient space and has a metal cover plate to isolate the secondary circuit from the high-pressure chamber. The left line groove is reserved for control of the introduction and extraction of small line, switch cabinet itself internal small line laying on the right side. When necessary, there can be a small bus through hole on the roof of the relay instrument room for convenient construction. When wiring, the top cover plate of the instrument room can be turned over to facilitate the installation of the small bus.

 

Breaker room B

Rails are installed on both sides of the compartment for the handcart to slide from the isolation/test position to the working position in the cabinet. When the handcart moves from the disconnect position/test position to the working position, the valve door on the upper and lower static contact box is linked with the handcart and automatically opens at the same time; When moving in the opposite direction, the valve is automatically closed until the handcar returns to a certain position and completely covers the static contact box, forming effective isolation. At the same time, the linkage of the upper and lower valves can lock the valve on the charged side during maintenance, so as to ensure that the maintenance personnel do not touch the charged body. The handcart can also be operated when the breaker room door is closed. Through the door observation window, you can observe the position, closing, brake display and energy storage status of the handcar in the other room.

 

Busbar chamber C

The main bus is a single splicing through connection, fixed through the support bus and static contact box. The main bus and connecting bus are D — shaped or rectangular. Used for large current load with double bus. The branch bus is bolted to the static contact box and the main bus, and no other support is required. The main bus and the branch bus are covered with heat shrinkable sleeve, the lap joint is made of flame retardant T-type insulation cover to ensure reliable composite insulation, and the adjacent cabinet bus is fixed with wall bushing.

 

Cable room D

The current transformer is installed on the back wall of the cable room and the grounding switch is installed on the fixing plate of the contact box to avoid the distortion of the operating shaft of the grounding switch. Cable indoor space is large, can be connected to multiple cables, cable connection height is high, convenient installation.
